Your levy is committed money. It can expire, or it can work.
Levy-paying employers can gift up to half of their Growth and Skills Levy to fund training for others. Most never do, and £1.5bn of levy expires unused every year. Maikai runs the system that turns gifted levy into skills, opportunity and good work.

You choose a portion of your unused levy to gift. Up to half of your levy can go, and it costs you nothing.

Youth employment
First Rung
Moves young people who are not in education, employment or training into real jobs. Employers commit vacancies before any cohort is recruited; Maikai then builds the cohort to fill them. Nobody trains for a job that doesn’t exist.
Who it reaches: young people aged 16 to 24, every place tied to a committed vacancy.
Schools
Your expertise, in classrooms
We help schools prepare students for the changing world of work: teachers confident with AI and learning mapped to the skills employers need, so the pathway from classroom to career is clear.
Who it reaches: educators and community workers, and through them the young people they teach.
SME skills
Digital and data for SMEs
We train people in small and medium businesses with the digital and data skills that make a company more productive, via apprenticeships and short courses.
Who it reaches: the businesses that employ most of the country yet train the least.
